KIDS' STUFF!

Coming to LPL Summer 2009

Lots of fun is being planned.

Kid Stuff

The Laurens Public Library has over 11,300 copies in the Children's Collection.

This includes "Easy," "Juvenile," and "Youth" level fiction books and videos

and "Juvenile" and "Youth" level Nonfiction books and videos.

School Kids

During the school year teachers are invited to bring their classes for brown bag lunches, speakers and programs.

For this school year we have seven classes scheduled for monthly visits to the library.

Preschool Kids

We have a Preschool Outreach program. This involves regular visits to Kids Korner and Preschool and Headstart classes.

We also have developed nine theme tubs with funding from the Laurens Public Library Foundation.

The themes are dogs, farms, bugs, counting, trains, what we wear, pirates and oceans, the jungle and toys.

These tubs are rotated among our local daycare providers.
