Laurens Public Library

The Laurens Public Library is an active educational, social and cultural institution in the Laurens community.               

Our collection of adult and children books, videos, and reference materials number 26,342 with a circulation of 31,619 in fiscal year 2005-2006.

 In 1904 the citizens of Laurens voted to establish the Laurens Public Library.  A Carnegie Building served the community from 1910-1975 when the current building was dedicated.
